Branding
The brand is warm and approachable that reflects Kawaii Sushi’s family-friendly atmosphere. The logo, colors and typography work together to colorful, bright and cute illustrations convey the playfulness making the brand instantly recognisable on the web.
Web Design
The primary purpose of the website is to give the user a sense of joy and entertainment using a bright and fun theme, whilst being easy to navigate. Clear sections for menu, promotions, and reservations help visitors quickly find what they need while enjoying the playful theme of the website.
Illustration
Custom illustrations bring the sushi train concept to life, featuring cute characters, fun mico-interactions (like the hover effects on the bento box or the moving sushi train with promotion materials). These visuals capture the charm of the restaurant and make the website feel fun, inviting and unique.
Animation
Subtle animations add life to the site, from the animated hero section, micro interactions with the bento box menu and the moving promotional content on the moving sushi train. These movements enhance the storytelling, making browsing more engaging without distracting from the key information.

Objectives
Our aim was to design a website that brings the spirit of Kawaii Sushi online. It's meant to be fun and welcoming, but importantly easy to navigate. I wanted to create a digital space that reflects the restaurant’s personality while making it simple for customers to explore the menu, check prices and make a reservation. The site needed to feel as inviting and playful as the sushi train experience itself. This encourages both first-time visitors and regulars to connect with the brand.
